The goal here was to make it look like a scan from the comic, although it's probably way too photo realistic.

quite basically this is a non-direct depiction of a character from a ps3 game, resistance; fall of man. done with 2H .5 mm lead in a mechanical pencil. took about 4 hours total

i honestly dont know what to call this, it feels very titleless to me...

the filename is "Emogoth" but it didnt seem to fit, so i guess a somewhat nameless title has been input

At the slight of time

quickly drawn and well done i feel, better then the astro chick, and took about half the time to draw, started the sketch yesterday, scanned, outlined, colored, and shaded within the next day...

i had fun with this

sketched it out initially by hand, then inked and colored with a mouse... i feel i need a less simplistic approach to doing ambient light, ive only gotten ambient to come out right once using this technique, and it was with a vector peice, so i dunno. well wait no, there was two, but w/e.

So I've been sick all week (food poisoning if you're the type that wants to know)...so I was sitting at home going through old digital photos I hadn't put into folders in a while. Came across the picture above and thought it was pretty damn cool. Since I had nothing better to do tonight, I threw it through some filters and came up with something neat.

Pretty cool to get invited to post on this blog. Hopefully this will be a good place to get some feedback on some of my work, as well as posting more interesting stuff. Sounds like there's some cool people posting cool stuff, so dyspop should be good times.
